Newspek
I joined Newspek in its early stages of development. It began as a website where users could find news articles from various outlets. With a unique tool called the Phenomena Map, users can visualize relationships between news events, helping them see the bigger picture of each story.

Additionally, by gathering news articles about the same event from different outlets and countries, users can compare them and gain multiple perspectives. My task was to design the UI based on wireframes.

Context
When I was at Newspek, I assisted in designing the UI during the early stages of product development.
Workflow
In the Newspek project, I worked closely with a UX researcher. My main task was to design the UI and create other visual elements, including pitch videos.

Once the UX designer created the conceptual wireframes, it was my responsibility to design the UI based on those wireframes. For this project, I primarily used Adobe XD for UI creation.

What I learnt
This project taught me a lot about organizing complex information. Since the UI was for a text-heavy platform, it was crucial to structure text blocks in a way that allowed users to intuitively grasp the relationships between different pieces of information.

Collaborating closely with a UX designer greatly improved the workflow. We were able to exchange ideas and research how news platforms present information, ensuring a well-structured and user-friendly design.
